ART by TAPE OVER

Publication date: 30.10.2025

TAPE OVER is an international tape art crew, founded in Berlin in 2011. With roots in the city’s underground electro scene, their first artworks were created in Berlin’s iconic clubs, which became their creative playground.
Their style blends elements of street and urban art, characterized by versatility and fine detail. Inspiration comes from organic forms, abstract shapes, minimal design, and strong visual statements. Experimentation is at the core of their practice, with every creation driven by passion and creativity.

Crew motto: “Tape art… sticks in your mind.”

Over the years, TAPE OVER has brought tape art to an international stage, creating works in countries such as France, England, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, the USA, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, and Korea. As pioneers in this young art form, the crew is known for continually pushing boundaries and redefining what is possible with tape as a medium.
