At Beta.ø each project and its context constitute a unique opportunity to integrate nature and artifice. The presentation will focus on how nature and the climatic conditions of the environment in which each project is implemented can be used as strategic design elements that contribute to passively optimise the energy consumption of the building. To this end, several examples of recent work by Beta.ø will be presented, where the development of the project has been approached from this perspective, integrating technical and aesthetic aspects and whose final result seeks to enrich the context in which it is located and improve the quality of life of its users.
