Specially designed for sun protection, the stainless steel wire mesh LARGO-TWIST 2045 is characterized by its tilted horizontal flat wires. The structure of the architectural wire mesh provides effective shading, particularly with a high angle of sunlight incidence in summer. Depending on the orientation of this wire mesh, it acts as an effective sun or privacy screen. With an open area of 35 %, the wire mesh type creates a homogeneous appearance with low transparency and extensive light reflections. At the same time, it allows an unobstructed view out of the building. Design shows impact With a sunlight incidence angle of 60° and double glazing, the mesh with its tilted horizontal flat wires, reduces the energy input by more than 90%. In combination with sun protection glazing, a g-value of 0.02 can be achieved. Daylight benefit with transparency from the inside - privacy protection from the outside Efficient shading does not mean darkening at the same time: a sun protection screen made of metal mesh still offers good transparency for the view outside. The mesh façade appears to be extremely transparent from the inside mainly due to the viewing angle and the natural daylight. Easy installation Architectural wire mesh comes ready to install with complete and easy-to-follow instructions. The main fixing of a panel is on the top and bottom of the element while the intermediate fixing -usually every 3-4 m in height- is horizontally only. Vertical substructure profiles are normally not required which preserves an undisturbed view from inside out.
