It was born on the banks of a river, from clays and the sun, a timeless material that is evolving following human discoveries and achievements. Always a protagonist in architecture, here it shows in its graphic and 3-D variety the attention to detail and the beauty of handmade pieces to define contemporary and restored environments inspired by a refined industrial style. The collection also offers a decorative variant. Inspired by the London brick of the early Industrial Revolution, the Formella decoration features the characteristic indent that was already stamped on the long side of the brick (the frog) at the end of the 18th century. The handcrafted charm of that version, which made the brick lighter and more manageable as well as more stable, remains unchanged in a new and fascinating stylistic reinterpretation.
